Glenstone Lodge

The hotel has been updated and is nice. Restaurant is good. I would give 5 stars if indoor pool had been warmer. The water in the pool was very cold. Kids don’t usually care about water temperature but even kids were huddling around the hot tub trying to warm up.. The air temperature outside was unseasonably warm so that wasn’t related to the coolness of the air temperature in the pool area and the icy water in the pool. It felt some better the next morning.

We had a great stay at Glenstone Lodge. We had a problem in our room relatively early in the evening, and a manager along with a maintenance man came right away to help. Their radios kept going off with other calls, but they stayed on task and made sure our issue was handled properly. The younger of the two seemed eager to learn and was really paying attention to what the manager was showing him, gave us some light hearted entertainment. Team work makes the dream work as they say. The lobby is beautiful and something to behold when you walk in. The property has a lot of potential, and the staff has really made our stay a positive one. There is a pizza joint right in the hotel, a little expensive, but good. We would definitely stay again!

Becky was very friendly and knowledgeable when we checked in. John at the front desk was amazing. We had an issue with our room and he was able to help us out. Thank you! The only complaint I have is the breakfast buffet, it is over priced. It is food that you can get at a hotel that is complimentary. Otherwise, we had a fantastic trip! We always love coming to Gatlinburg.

Love supporting local business thats not a chain. Loved my room but was told it had a keurig and fireplace, it did not. Advertised a hot tub in pool area. I assumed it had jets, it didnt, just a hot tub. Nice hotel and kept up well for its age. Would have liked more open hours for coffee shop and restaurant. Very friendly staff. Didnt charge for parking either!

We had such a great stay at the Glenstone Lodge. We loved our room, and the pool and hot tub were a big hit with our family. Mary with the hot chocolate was an absolute sweetheart, and that little touch really made our stay feel special. From the moment we checked in, the experience was the best. Becky and John at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, and John even pointed us to a restaurant that will pick you up and take you back for free. Saturday night was one of our favorite parts of the trip. There was a movie night as well with a showing of The Grinch! Heta and Nick did an awesome job putting that together, our entire family watched after a long day. The free popcorn was a fun surprise and made it feel like a real family event. We did have a small issue during our stay, but it was handled quickly and without any hassle, which we really appreciated. We even got lucky enough to see a bear while we were there. Nick showed us the river and explained all the wildlife that uses it. It's certainly a special place. We will absolutely be coming back. This place made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and taken care of from start to finish. The decorations were beautiful, it was a great way to kick off the holidays!

We have had a wonderful stay at the Glenstone Lodge! The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. The pool is fantastic, we love the waterfall. Our room was comfortable quiet, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking the strip. The hotel is also close enough to the attractions but away from the noise. You can tell the team has pride in the property. A special thank you to Nick and his family for all of the great advice! The hot chocolate with Mary was fantastic! John was always reliable to for any needs. They have a restaurant, the pizza was amazing. Overall, an amazing experience and we will be returning!

Within walking distance to town, room was clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even had a free family movie night with popcorn and hot chocolate. They have a small restaurant and coffee shop inside. It was great to be able to grab my morning coffee at the hotel and we did dine at their restaurant. We were very impressed with the pizza and boneless wings! My youngest loved the indoor pool. I will say the pool area was very noisy, so if you like to go to bed early and want quiet, don't book a pool side room. I chose an outer room and it was quiet. We would 100 percent stay here again.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Location very close and walking distance to most of the attractions in Gatlinburg. The heated pool was a little cold for my taste but the kids didn't mind and I enjoyed the hot tub after all the walking in town. We had rooms right off the pool area which we enjoyed. Great view and stream behind the lodge by a large picnic area, beautiful location.
